                            RESOLUTION NO.   19984   
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
                   EXECUTE ANY AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS WITH
                   THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES
                   TO ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE
                   HUNDRED EIGHTY-SIX THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED
                   NINETY-FOUR AND 34/100 DOLLARS ($186,794.34)
                   FOR JOB TRAINING SERVICES, AND WITH THE
                   PRIVATE INDUSTRY COUNCIL FOR THE TRANSFER OF
                   SAID FUNDS.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to execute a contract with the Tennessee Department of Human
       Services to accept a grant in the amount of $186,794.34 for job
       training services; and
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor be and is hereby
       authorized to execute a contract with the Private Industry 
Council
       whereby said funds will be transferred thereto through the Office 

       of Economic and Community Development.
